ZERO is the new electrolyte drink from High5; it’s virtually calorie free (1.4 cal per 100ml) and has a light refreshing taste. Researchers have also found that simply drinking Zero instead of a normal carbohydrate sport drink, 22 participants burned on average 41% more fat during exercise. Zero is easy to use; drop a tablet in your bottle and it quickly dissolves in water to give you a delicious, refreshing, advanced electrolyte drink with added magnesium. The small recyclable tube contains 20 tablets and makes 15 litres of drink in your own reusable sports bottle, which means optimal hydration with less waste so it’s good for the environment too.

ZERO has a very light taste, for normal use mix one tablet per 750ml of water. If you are using a bladder system mix 2 tablets per 1 ½ litre. If you like your drink stronger or require the extra electrolytes, simply mix 2 tablets per 750ml bottle. The tablets are scored to allow for an easy break.

How do you Rate this Product Just wondering how this is classified as an electrolye sport drink when it has trace amounts of sodium and no other electrolytes. Am I missing something? I think there is benefit if the pleasant flavour encourages people to drink more to stay hydrated, but I would be reluctant to rely on this for electrolyte replacement. (Posted on 15/07/2011)
