Freeze dried foods, unlike other dehyrdrated foods, are usually foods containing a multitude of ingredients and seasonings. Nothing more is needed, just a little cook time in hot water to rehydrate them and have them ready to eat. They are pre-seasoned, pre-cooked and pre-mixed with other ingredients, making them the fastest, easiest and tastiest foods available.
The "high energy" meals below all have over 800 calories per meal.
PREPARATION: Remove the oxygen absorber (sachet) from inside the pouch. Add boiling water to the internal fill line 5, stir the contents, then close the bag. Wait 5-8 minutes for the food to re-hydrate. (Cold water will suffice in an emergency, however the re-hydration time is much longer)

How do you Rate this Product The high calorie density of these meals are good for saving weight in your pack. The main meals are fine and keep you going through the week, but for me the breakfast options are too heavy. (Posted on 15/09/2011)
