ISOGEL doesn’t need to be taken with additional water. Just tear off the end and drink it neat. The clever part about ISOGEL is that it actually tastes and feels like a normal sport drink but still delivers 24 grams of carbohydrate per 60ml palm-sized sachet. It’s not slimy, it’s not like runny jelly and it tastes fantastic even in the later stages of racing or training.
Like all High5 products ISOGEL has been extensively tested in the lab and with athlete groups who have given it a unanimous thumbs up. So no more waiting till the water station to get extra fuel on board, no more slimy tasteless jelly gloop, it really is just like a sports drink.

How do you Rate this Product the only gel i can stomach. perfect for 1 day events, and tastes like a sports drink yet gets the calories (well almost 75 vrs 100) in v quickly. Not too sweet and actually almost tasty...and i hate all gels! (Posted on 06/01/2011)

Do you find gels difficult? Review by Kelly Ashton
How do you Rate this Product I've used High 5 gels over the past few years for both triathlons and desert races. They are my preference and I believe one of the best on the market along with Hammer Nutrition Gels. This particular product 'High 5 IsoGel' is actually no different to a normal High 5 gel however it has added water, thus it weighs more! I would recommend it for people who find normal gels to thick and hard to stomach, or just to sweet. Perhaps better used for an event where you are not carrying your food for seven days. Approx additional 25 grms per sachet compared to a normal gel.
Summary - Great if you have problems stomaching gels or just really don't like them. However for a multi stage race unnecessary additional weight if you can handle normal gels. (Posted on 05/07/2010)
