Perfect pack for RTP events Review by Tom Naughton
How do you Rate this Product Although using this pack on a RacingThePlanet event does require some planning (food needs to be zip locked or vacuum packed, sleeping bag on the outside for day 1 etc) it is the best pack I've ever run with and is surprisingly spacious given its 20 litre rating. I find it actually bigger than the inov8 25l elite and is much more comfortable and a similar weight. The built in bottle holders do away with the annoying movement of the traditional bottle holders. It also forces you to keep your pack weight nearer 7kgs which means you burn less energy/have fewer injuries/go faster over the week. (Posted on 02/12/2011)

Great minimalist pack... not alot of bells and whistles, but light and fast. Review by Matt Nelson
How do you Rate this Product If you are gong fast, this is the pack to have. The first time I saw it was in Namibia when Marco Olmo (who designed the pack - google this guy.... amazing!) was wearing it. At 20L it is a bit small for a lot of the RacingThePlanet races, but it is a sturdy well designed piece of gear. I use mine extensively when I train and do long trail runs. The pockets up front keep hydration where you can judge intake and refill/ mix on the move. The insulated pockets do a fair job of keeping your body heat off the bottles. They are mounted on the shoulderstraps of the pack and therefore don't bounce as much as the chest mounted version on the Evolution 2. I did have to cut the straws on the included bottles so that they wouldn't keep poking me in the eye - that took me about 10 minutes on my first run to figure out. BTW - the bottles are awesome and a dramatic improvement over RaidLight's first version - pressure release valves on the lid and a bite valve on the straw that locks. WORD OF CAUTION... the pockets on the water bottles are convenient, but they don't zip or velcro shut - you can lose anything of value you put there (money, keys, electrolites...) just be warned!
