Fit Information
Marmot jackets, parkas and pants are sized as outerwear: larger than sportswear to allow for performance, movement, layering, and comfort. Sweaters will fit less generously than jackets or parkas. Shirts will fit less generously than sweaters. Our garment names are more than identification; they describe the fit specifications as well. All Marmot garments will fit more generously than non-active wear because we pattern and grade all garments for active use: reaching, bending, stretching.

  1. Lightest Jacket! Review by Eric LaHaie
How do you Rate this Product

This is Marmot's update to the classic Ion Windshirt. Same functionality, but 50 grams lighter! And it has great reflective strips for showing up at night. This version has no hood, which save another 20 grams! If you are looking to cut weight in your pack for a multi-day race, using this jacket is a great way to do it.

Great for events as it packs in on itself and weighs next to nothing. I will be taking this along with me for all my future multi-day races for sure! (Posted on 19/07/2011)
