Design flaw with buckle. Review by ACL
How do you Rate this Product This would have been an excellent product except for a very bad manufacturing defect- they used a brittle kind of plastic for the buckles.
The prongs actually broke off on the first day i used it so I took it back to the store. When I got my replacement, I scrounged around for a buckle from an old fanny pack which was made of more robust material and used a sewing machine on the straps to reattach the new buckle.
Now one of the bungee cords used for securing the nutrition flask frayed and broke loose.
It still bounces a bit (but not as much as otther bottle holders in the vertical or diagonal position).
While the design is good, Nathan should have paid better attention to quality control.
