Key to staying hydrated Review by Stephanie Case
How do you Rate this Product Not only do these bottle holders help get you through the checkpoints quickly (as many others have noted), but they also help you gauge your water intake, which is crucial to staying hydrated in warmer climates. By having your water handily out in front in easy-to-reach bottles, you can check your water levels at any time and know whether you are drinking too quickly or slowly between checkpoints. My only criticism of the product is that because these bottle holders are so incredibly light, there is a chance that they may start to fall apart under race conditions... bring a little bit of duct tape or electrical tape for the race just in case and you'll be fine! These are great Review by Maya
How do you Rate this Product I really liked these bottle holders. I couldn't run with water bottles in the holders of the Raidlight pouch without them hitting my hips so these holders allowed me to put them higher up. The straws can be annoying and hit you in the face so I just tied them down with the elastic band that goes around the top of the bottles. Will definitely use these again. (Posted on 4/1/10)

Water System of Choice Review by Eric LaHaie
How do you Rate this Product I agree with ARS's review: this is the best water system for an ultra-marathon or multi-day event. These bottle holders are great because they work with any backpack - I used them with my OMM 25 pack in the Atacama Crossing 2010. It is the most efficient and easy to use water system available. To avoid the bottles shifting, I added a zip-tie around the bottom of the bottle holder to keep the bottles firmly in place (the holders themselves already do a good job of this, but I find they jostle a bit when the bottles are completely full). The best water system for an ultramarathon Review by ARS
How do you Rate this Product I used this system in the Gobi March and think that it's hands down the best water system for an ultra-marathon. Since you don't have to remove or open your pack to refill the bottles you spend much less time and energy at water stops. Also, by having the bottles and straws right on your chest you don't have to fumble around to pull out and then replace a bottle from your pack or waist-belt every time you want a drink, you can just sip as need be, leaving you free to focus on the terrain and your pace.
