  • The new Sea-to-Summit Ultra-Sil™ Dry Sacks are more than 50% lighter than the super popular Dry Sacks.
  • Made of Siliconized Cordura®, which is one of the lightest and toughest waterproof nylon fabrics available, so you don’t have to choose between keeping your gear dry and keeping it light.
  • Non-wicking Hypalon® roll top closure with stiffener at the top for a better seal.
  • Soft and flexible with a slippery finish for easy packing
  • Nearly transparent allowing good visibility of the contents
  • All seams are double stitched and tape sealed
  • Smaller sizes have flat bottoms, others are round.
Additional Information
  • Begin by folding the Hypalon™ strip down first and be sure to have at least three rolls before closing the buckle.
  • Avoid contact with sharp objects or subjecting the sack to high abrasion, as this could compromise the waterproof fabric.
  • Sea to Summit recommends that sensitive electronic devices be ‘double bagged’ (i.e. putting electronics inside one dry sack then placing this inside a second dry sack).
  • For maximum protection, the use of a waterproof hard case should be considered.

  1. Perfect for keeping organised Review by Samantha G
How do you Rate this Product

I have a few of these bags in a number of sizes and colours. I put all my loose items in here using different colours to make finding things easier when you’re a bit loopy and tired in the middle of a race. (Posted on 14/09/2011)

  2. Essential gear! Review by Denvy Lo
How do you Rate this Product

I used these in the Gobi 2010 and they are absolutely essential. They are very lightweight and help keep things organized. I had one for food and one for essentials like blister kit, emergency blanket, medicine, etc. Also very useful for use in Hong Kong. Like Eric said, it's always raining so these nifty bags help keep things dry! (Posted on 08/07/2010)

  3. Passed the ultimate test Review by Stephanie Case
How do you Rate this Product

I put this dry sack to the ultimate test in the Australia 2010 race. There was one part of Stage 5 in which we had to swim across a river and my entire backpack was submerged underwater. I packed all of my things inside the dry sack and it worked brilliantly - not a single thing got wet! Except for the potato chips I had in an outside pocket, of course... (Posted on 09/06/2010)

  4. A+ Again Review by Eric LaHaie

I used these again during the Atacama Crossing 2010 and again they worked great. (Posted on 31/03/2010)

  5. A must Review by LC
How do you Rate this Product

These bags rock. I used these to hold my backpack through water. The bag inflated with air and I was able to easier pull through canyons full of water. Love these lightweight and good-looking bags. (Posted on 10/09/2009)

  6. Great for organizing gear Review by KHa
How do you Rate this Product

Quickly finding exactly what you need is essential when you're walking for 6-8 hours a day. A friend turned me on to using the sea to summit dry bags to help organize and sort all my gear. This organization system proved very useful on the long day when I needed to quickly find some extra food to power through the last 20km. Plus they come in great colors. Since Gobi, I have found that I use them back at home when I go out wakeboarding, sailing or dragon boating. (Posted on 10/09/2009)

  7. Extremely Useful Review by Eric LaHaie
How do you Rate this Product

I used three separate Sea-to-Summit dry bags during the Gobi March 2009: one for clothes, one for medical supplies and misc. gear (whistle, compass, etc.), and one for valuables (money & passport). This system worked great, as I could easily locate my items after each day's run by the different size and color of each bag.

I found the bags extremely durable, and they kept all my equipment dry and secure. The clip top is great!

I use these bags during my daily training as well (it is always raining in Hong Kong, ugggh!) (Posted on 10/09/2009)
