  • ALOKSAK bags have been certified waterproof in excess of 60 meters (approx. 200 feet) for over two weeks by the SSI (formerly NASDA), and passed the submergence/thrash/pull test conducted by the US Navy Experimental Diving Unit.
  • These leak proof products offer unparalleled water-tightness in a recloseable cost-effective bag. The 6 mil. film of the bag is on par with PVC of the same thickness in terms of durability, but has a lower cold-crack tolerance (minus 60 F.) than that of PVC / Vinyl (0 degrees F.)
  • Most electronics can be used while protected in the ALOKSAK. While the bag is the best dry bag of its kind in the world, it also offers air tight protection for metals, food storage and electronic equipment above sea level.
  • Due to its waterproof, dust proof, and humidity proof hermetic seal, it is rated as a biohazard hermetically sealed bag. The bags make great ice packs and also protect food while in a cooler from the water that comes from the melting ice in standard bags.
  • Opened food will not go stale as it is not exposed to humidity. The possible uses are almost endless.

  1. Not Happy! Review by DaveyDee
How do you Rate this Product

Sure, the material is tough, but the seal doesn't stay shut. It can pop open when you don't want it too, and that's a big problem if you're trying to protect a phone, ipod or GPS. I think they are as effective as any other gripseal bag, just a lot more money. A freezer bag in a regular drybag is probably a safer bet. (Posted on 04/03/2010)

How do you Rate this Product

You will use these for a ton of stuff. Camera, iPod, footcare, medicines, snacks, etc.. Much more rugged than regular ziplock bags. ALL your gear will end up with sand and dust on it in the tents. These will keep the dirt off your toothbrush! (Posted on 16/11/2009)
